my wonderful people of itb. =)
went out with afiq, aziz khan, man and kak zu on saturday. it was seriously all about fun and incessant laughter. with their antiques, one can never have enough time to breath. i am super glad that afiq had suggested the outing and i am grateful there weren't any UNWANTED people invited. i noe i sound mean but hey, nothing happens without a reason rite?
went bowling at marina square and had a roaring time laughing AT each other. man was the best player i must say. his style is curl ball. however he did it, i have no idea. sheesh..the man played like a pro. (well, maybe he is one after all.)
after bowling, we headed out when aziz suddenly asked if we wanted to "baduk" at Pizza Hut. HIS TREAT. haha! that was the most important part. n so we had some prosperity meal or something and the guys made jokes and all of us took a while to finish eating as we were laughing more than eating itself. somehow, we had transformed the place to a coffee shop instead. HAHA!
but we were all happy. so it's all good. =)
at work today, i had some kind of a debate with derek, kak zana and eugene regarding the turmoil in palestin. whilst debating and stating my clear facts to derek, it made me realise one thing. our lives have been blurred by propaganda. we may noe certain things but we might not be certain about it. derek was stating that it was not in good conscience that we have this hatred towards the Jews. my rebuttal was that our grimace is not because of hatred. it sourced from humanity itself. looking at the pictures forwarded through emails on what the Israel army had been doing, u can't juz stare blankly and feel nothing about it. of course your own knowledge will affect ur viewpoint. however, no knowledge or no rebuttal will be able to hide the Israel army's atrocious and barbarious nature. it's not even the opponents army that they're harming. they're harming fucking CIVILIANS! numerous unarmed and harmless women and babies were victimized without any glint of mercy. would u be insensitive enough to just put it aside without thinking of how these civilians survive? would u be able to sleep comfortably at nite to noe that at the other end of the world, children are mourning and crying after blasts and gunshots?
it's an evil world. and it is dying soon. we're all juz too immersed in our routines to really put our mind to it. it really is time to repent.
